This was me in 1961.
Would you believe it, I still look this way?
If you do,
I have some swamp land in Florida...
My wife, Gloria, and I live on Escambia Bay, just East of Pensacola, Florida. I have a 34 year old son, Robert, III, who is a missionary to the Spanish speaking people in Honduras, Central America, and the world..
I am 65 years old now. I have yet to make my first million, so I thought I’d start on my 2nd. I’m not very ambitious anymore. I’m retired, and working harder than ever helping others in the family and friends with their homes and property repairs.
I still install, maintain, and teach the use of computer networks in businesses, churches, and homes.
I'm still seeking time to write Christian conspiracy novels. In the meantime I'm editing my son's website and hope to have a daily news site on the web soon.
Our pier was wiped out by Hurricane Ivan four years ago. I hope to rebuild it this winter. Ivan also took out the downstairs of our home and I have finally finished repairing the inside. It looks better than ever, but I still have to finish repainting the outside of the house.
I guess the only thing I ever did worthwhile in my short life was to get born again, by trusting in the blood of Jesus to take me to Heaven.
I attended the University of Houston from 1961-1964 and majored in Biology with the intent to become an MD and specialize in Psychiatry. Only, they didn't offer any practical teaching on medicine. So I joined the Air Force January 29th, 1965 to practice medicine as a hospital corpsman. It was the greatest experience. I was able to practice plastic surgery in the Emergency Room. Once, I sewed a lady's nose back on when it was ripped off in an automobile accident. It was a perfect job, you couldn't even see a scar after several months. I brought a boy back to breathing on the table after he had stopped. I enjoyed repairing wounds and putting people back together, and if I was a civilian I would have become rich, but as a service man, they wouldn't pay me enough. I loved working with children in the pediatric ward for a year and a half, and wanted to have a dozen of my own when I finished my tour of duty.
I returned to the University of Houston in 1969. They had changed the requirements so drastically that I would have had to go four more years to qualify for medical school, so I changed my major to Television Journalism. I graduated in 1971. I worked at a TV station in Panama City, Florida reporting the news, weather, and sports for a couple of years. But I found out there is no freedom in reporting. You had to report the big lies handed to you to read in front of the camera, and I couldn't stomach it.
So, I quit, and purchased a Health Food Store in Pensacola, Florida in 1973. For five years I was able to treat hundreds of people with alternative medicine which markedly improved their lives. I even was associated with a naturopathic doctor who helped me. One lady came to me and pleaded, "Help! They want to cut my leg off because of an open sore on my ankle. It won't heal after 5 years."
I showed her what vitamins, minerals, herbs, and age-old natural remedies to take and how to make a poultice, which healed the sore 90% within 5 days. She went back to the doctor for the surgery on the following Tuesday, and he was astounded--he called off the surgery and said, "Keep doing what you are doing!"
After a year, she was completely healed. I heard this testimony from hundreds of people.
I finally was able to help people by practicing medicine--but without a license.
Real food, nutrients, and drugless alternative treatments worked.
I had married a Lieutenant (Registered Nurse) in the Air Force in 1968 and we had my son, Robert R. Breaker, III, in 1974, and my daughter Kristina Kay Breaker in 1980. My wife left me in 1978, so I sold the Health Food Store. I had a Christian Book store incorporated in one section of the store, and when the Lord saved me in 1978, I looked through those so-called Christian books and determined that 90% of them didn't preach the right gospel. So I closed it, too, intending to move back to Texas where I grew up.
I went to Oklahoma to try to bring my wife home. She didn't say anything, but she came.
So we stayed here and I worked at a lot of jobs until 1988, when she deserted me for the final time.
In May 1990, the Lord blessed me with the most wonderful girl, who I married in 1991. She's still with me and takes very good care of me.
She's saved and we are going to meet the Lord together when He comes to get us.
My mother is 87 and living with us and doing very well.
My Dad passed away in 1998, and we still feel he's with us.
Here are some pictures of our place.
I just finished rebuilding the bulkhead about 3 months ago after Hurricanes Ivan and Dennis.

This is our home for the last 30years.
The Lord blessed us with a beautiful
place on Escambia Bay in Northwest Florida.
My Dad, my Brother, and I built
it ourselves from scratch. And, praise the Lord, it's paid for.
You are looking East,
the house faces West, overlooking
3 miles of water toward Pensacola, Florida.

Looking West from the upstairs porch balcony.
This is what I look like now.
I'm the one in the middle with the hat on...
I caught these from our pier.
I can still taste them every time I look at them.

As you might imagine, it's hard to be ambitious...
